[ she does have to bike over though, and that means making the trek back through the forest. that's not something she's looking forward to, but at least it's daytime. those stupid mongrels shouldn't be out... at least not in full force... ] You'll wait for me, right? I'll be there. [ he says it like a promise, because the way she sounds right now isn't something he likes, so he's trying to reassure her in little ways. ] We could even grab a bite to eat, if that place has anything good.

[ but who knew what was in that lake. shuddering at the thought she grabbed her bike and set out. she'd eventually arrive, but he'd probably be waiting there for a while... in hindsight she probably should have given him an eta. oops. ]
